With this project we expect to develop important, novel methodological tools to investigate the spatio-temporal dynamics of epileptic activity based on the analysis of EEG-fMRI and DTI data collected from patients with focal epilepsy. For this purpose, we got together a team with extensive expertise in convergent and complementary topics, relevant to the project and we hope that this will also serve to strengthen the links between clinicians, basic scientists and engineers in an interdisciplinary field such as the one of Neuroimaging.
