CMU-Portugal
CMU-Portugal Program relies on an integrated research and educational Dual PhD Program in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specially focused on Networked Sensors, Communication, and Decision Systems with applications in the area of Critical Infrastructures and Risk Assessment.
IST-EPFL
IST-EPFL Joint Doctoral initiative – This programme allows students to receive a joint diploma from IST (Lisbon, Portugal) and EPFL (Lausanne, Switzerland) in the areas of Distributed and Cognitive Robotics and Biological and Biomedical Imaging. This programme was recently restructure and now offered in the context of the FCT-funded Robotics, Brain and Cognition Doctoral Program (RBCog-Phd).
These programmes give the possibility for students, faculty and researchers to be exposed to different research and academic environments and to obtain diplomas awarded by different institutions
