On 11 May the unfortunate news of the passing of Professor Paulo Felisberto was shared by the Dean of his alma mater. Paulo Felisberto was a researcher at ISR-Lisboa since it was founded, as well as at Centro de Investigação Tecnológica do Algarve, where he carried out research in the areas of acoustics and ocean exploration and was also a teacher at the department of Engenharia Eletrotécnica do Instituto Superior de Engenharia. He was also a founding member of ISR and a SIPg researcher since day one. Several members of the ISR|Lisboa community have expressed their deepest condolences when faced with the sad news of the terrible loss of Paulo Felisberto, at 56 years old, victim of a prolonged disease.

“Those of us who interacted more with Paulo will for sure remember his positive attitude and kindness, which he kept while fighting a long-term illness for more than a year.
