The ISR-Lisboa External Advisory Committee (EAC) convened with the ISR community on November 8th and 9th to foster dialogue and collaboration. These meetings serve as a valuable platform for ISR researchers to engage with external experts, whose guidance plays a pivotal role in the institution’s multidisciplinary environment. The EAC provides a report with advice for the Institute, that usually aims to strengthen successful research lines, promote collaboration, explore new methodologies and research areas, and provide advice on institutional development.

Over the course of the remote meetings, EAC members gained insight into the institution’s work, culture, and training methods. The EAC visit showcased the institution’s most notable research activities and outcomes, fostering fruitful discussions on various aspects of academic and research pursuits. The meetings were certainly stimulating and beneficial in further enhancing the quality of ISR-Lisboa’s research endeavors.
